I loved the charming atmosphere of Alegria Hotel. The owner, Veronique, created a welcoming vibe that made me feel right at home. The cozy room I stayed in was tastefully decorated, and the bed was remarkably comfortable. I appreciated the continental breakfast, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice, a delightful start to each morning. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a minute's walk from the main square, yet it felt peaceful at night. the street noise was a bit bothersome. soundproofing could definitely use improvement. I noted the need for milk in the room for the tea and coffee facilities since it wasn't offered. despite the few inconveniences, the unique character and personal touch made this a memorable stay.

Our stay as a couple was grand! The breakfast spread was truly delightful, featuring some scrumptious grilled salmon that made our mornings extra special. The location couldn’t be better, just a hop to Osteria 45 and El Greco for delightful dining.

This was just an optimal selection for a short layover in Bruges with best value. Our room was at the back overlooking a lovely garden, which was surprisingly quiet despite the hotel's location. To avoid the noise, it’s best to choose rooms away from the main street.
