I loved the charming atmosphere of Alegria Hotel. The owner, Veronique, created a welcoming vibe that made me feel right at home. The cozy room I stayed in was tastefully decorated, and the bed was remarkably comfortable. I appreciated the continental breakfast, especially the freshly squeezed orange juice, a delightful start to each morning. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a minute's walk from the main square, yet it felt peaceful at night. the street noise was a bit bothersome. soundproofing could definitely use improvement. I noted the need for milk in the room for the tea and coffee facilities since it wasn't offered. despite the few inconveniences, the unique character and personal touch made this a memorable stay.

Our stay as a couple was grand! The breakfast spread was truly delightful, featuring some scrumptious grilled salmon that made our mornings extra special. Veronique, the hostess, was a fountain of knowledge about local spots, giving great recommendations that turned our culinary explorations into epic tales. The location couldn’t be better, just a hop to Osteria 45 and El Greco for delightful dining.
Now for the cheeky bit, while the ambiance was fab, our hostess sometimes acted like a drama queen! She was a bit heavy-handed on the rules, making us feel under scrutiny rather than at home. Thankfully, everything else still shined through her theatrics!

This was just an optimal selection for a short layover in Bruges with best value. Our room was at the back overlooking a lovely garden, which was surprisingly quiet despite the hotel's location. To avoid the noise, it’s best to choose rooms away from the main street.

The welcoming scent in our room set the perfect tone for our stay. Breakfast included delicious baguettes and a selection of high-quality options, all enjoyed in a charming setting.
